This side dish pairs well with everything! Fish, chicken, beef, or pork it makes a great pair to any main course! In the picture it is paired with marinaded Teriyaki salmon that we cooked on the grill.
Cheesy Baked Sliced Potatoes
Ingredients:
Approximately 8 russet potatoes cut into thin chips
1/2 stick of butter
1 tablespoon of Garlic Salt
1 teaspoon of Garlic powder
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup Gouda cheese (shredded)
1/2 cup of pepperjack cheese (shredded)
1/2 cup of cheddar cheese (shredded)
Directions:
Rub 1/4 of a stick of butter over the cast iron skillet
Dice potatoes into thin round chip like pieces.
Line cast iron skillet placing potatoes much like hassleback potatoes in the skillet (or how you would ratatouille)
Season potatoes with garlic salt, garlic powder, and pepper
In a sauce pan heat heavy cream to boiling and reduce to medium heat
Add in cheeses slowly over time while stirring constantly so cream and cheese oils don't separate
Once all cheese is melted pour over potatoes
Bake at 450 for 45 minutes.
