So I love the Mushroom Bruschetta from one of our local establishments. Today I came up with my own version of the recipe:
- 1 loaf of artisan bread - 2 packages of Baby Bellas
- 2 tablespoons diced garlic - 1 teaspoonish of seasoning salt - 1.5 sticks of butter - Tastefully Simple Italian Garlic Seasoning - 2 packages of Allouette Garlic and Herb cheese
Directions:
1) Cut bread in to thick bread slices, and butter both sides 2) Sprinkle Italian garlic bread seasoning on both sides 3) Bake at 450 degrees for 7 minutes or until lightly toasted 4) While bread is toasting, put 1/2 stick of butter in fry pan with diced garlic cook on low 5) Dice both packages of mushrooms and put in fry pan with butter, turn up to high, and season with seasoning salt 6) Once bread is lightly toasted put Alloutte Garlic and Herb cheese spread on top of bread slices thick. 7) Put toast back in oven for 5 more minutes 8) Cover with sauteed garlic mushrooms and serve.... not to pat myself on the back but it's amazing.... just saying.
