Movie Night leftovers mean Popcorn Balls!

On New Year's we had a quiet night, and Grandpa surprised everyone with making popcorn in his fancy popcorn marker with the kiddos. His corn maker makes A LOT, and even though we all love popcorn, there was a gallon and half bag left over. The kiddos took popcorn for snack the rest of the week, but I didn't want it to go to waste.

So this morning my little helper, Gracie, and I were in the kitchen making popcorn balls for snacks!

Ingredients:

1 and a half gallon bags filled with popped popcorn

1 stick of salted butter

1 bag of mini marshmallows

Pam nonstick spray

Melt butter under low heat, once melted add in entire bag of mini marshmallows. Stir constantly until marshmallows are all melted. Pour in popcorn a half a bag at a time. Keep stirring until covered with marshmallow mixture. Spray your hands with Pam cooking spray and rub together - this will keep the popcorn from sticking to your hands while you push together the balls. Now grab large handfuls and push together into balls. Let sit for about 5 minutes to finish cooling. I store mine in individual sandwich bags so the kiddos can just grab and go! Enjoy!
